On September 14, a delegation of Ukrainian people's deputies and an advisor to the Committee on Economic Development of the Verkhovna Rada (the Ukrainian parliament) were guests at Yazaki Ukraine’s (YUL) Uzghorod plant. Since they visited the site for the first time, an important topic was Yazaki’s almost 18 years of experience in Ukraine. But the delegation also came to discuss the current investment climate in the country.
Deputies Mykhailo Laba, Dmytro Kysylevsky and Adviser Ihor Huzhva assured YUL Plant Manager Jozef Polak that they were ready to provide the maximum possible support in resolving current issues. They also talked about the law aimed at creating industrial parks as an investment in the future.
“This kind of meetings are extremely valuable since they promote an exchange of first-hand information between government officials and us as a company. They help to make Ukraine more attractive for future investments while at the same time supporting existing enterprises,” said Polak.
