Every year, on 28 April, the World Day for Safety and Health at Work is celebrated. The International Labour Organisation dedicates this day to relevant topics. In 2024, the theme is: "Ensuring safe and healthy work now in the face of climate change".

Yazaki Ukraine LLC always cares about proper and safe working conditions for its employees, who are also involved in the formation of a culture of safety and health at work. Therefore, on the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we decided to organise a month of "Health" for our employees, which included several events:

1.            Communication with the representative of the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Zakarpattia region, on the creation of safe and harmless working conditions at the enterprise, the state of occupational injuries, accidents and other relevant topics.

2.            A children's drawing competition entitled "OHS through the Eyes of Children 2024" was organised, where children received interesting gifts from the enterprise for their diligent work.

3.            Charity event "Share your BLOOD", which is organised on a quarterly basis.

4.            FG survey at the plant.

5.            Gynaecological examination of women.

6.            Training in first aid.

7.            The charity event "Express Testing" for HIV, hepatitis C and syphilis, which will continue in June.

Also, once a year, employees can undergo an additional medical examination by narrow specialists at a local clinic.
