For the second year in a row, our factory has been selected for the final competition among the Yazaki quality circles of Y-EMEA. This year, this event took place from January 16 to 18 in Porto, Portugal. "Yazaki Ukraine" was represented by the "Sunrise" quality team, which won at our internal competitions in October 2023. A total of 11 teams from different parts of Europe and Africa made it to the finals. Therefore, our employees had a unique opportunity not only to present their project in a dignified way, but also to expand their own outlook, gain new knowledge about other countries and continents, and also become part of a team that cares for and promotes the ecological development of Yazaki.

"Ecological development" was the motto of this year's competition of quality circles of Y-EMEA. That is why a number of digitization and other "green" initiatives have been implemented instead of paper and plastic.

Also, the theme of the event was "Portuguese Cultural Heritage", which our Portuguese colleagues sincerely shared with all participants during the week. In turn, our team also presented Ukrainian traditions, namely demonstrated the meeting of guests with a embroidered towel and a loaf of bread, while explaining why a embroidered towel is an important talisman for every Ukrainian. At the end of the presentation, all those present were able to enjoy Ukrainian bread, which everyone really liked.
