At the end of September, the YUL held a regular blood donation event, in which 91 employees took part. This time, specialists from the Transcarpathian Regional Blood Transfusion Station collected 41 litres of blood, which can save many lives.

This is not the first time that YUL has been active in donor campaigns. In this way, employees demonstrate their civic position and social responsibility.

It is worth noting that donation is beneficial not only for those who receive help, but also for the donors themselves. The recovery of blood after donation stimulates the cardiovascular system, improves immunity and increases the overall tone of the body. Donors often report feeling more energetic after donating blood. In addition to the physical benefits, there is also a moral benefit - the feeling that your help can save someone's life gives you great satisfaction and increases your level of internal motivation.

There is always a shortage of blood in Ukraine, especially in times of crisis. According to the Ministry of Health, the country needs more than 1.5 million donations every year. Participation in such events helps to replenish blood supplies and makes a significant contribution to the development of the healthcare system. In addition, companies that organise such events foster a culture of donation among their employees, which, in turn, can have a long-term positive effect on the whole society.
