Japanese Top Companies tour to Students in 3 CEE Countries
The Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) had initiated a career event in three Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries. It featured 12 handpicked top tech Japanese companies, including Yazaki. Between October 13 and 18, this so-called “Tech Job Fair & Forum” attracted a lot of students and fresh graduates in
Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Kraków, Poland and Sofia, Bulgaria.
Through presentations and podium discussions, the talents learned more about the tech corporations. Job fairs followed in the daily program. These were also well used to network, discuss and gain insights into career opportunities.
At the event in Bulgaria on October 14, Vladimir Sedlarski (General Manager of YBE), Radka Stoykova and Yanita Kostadinova (HR Managers) and Vladimir Gerdjikov (IT Manager) participated from YBE as YEMEA representatives. On October 18 in Rumania, Toma Peiov (Senior Manager), Adelina Neagu (HR & GA Coordinator) and Shota Yoshimitsu (Senior Engineer) participated from YCT.
For the Japanese representatives as well as for the visitors of the forum, it was interesting to learn the scope of the company, both at a global and a local level. The event provided an opportunity to introduce the company on a wider platform. “For Yazaki Bulgaria, it was a good experience and a great success with over 120 applications from engineers and IT professionals collected,” said Radka Stoykova.
