On May 15, 2024, Yazaki EMEA signed an agreement with the shareholders of Junker & Halverscheid Formenbau GmbH & Co. KG and JuHa Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG to acquire the entire group. This agreement is subject to approval by competition authorities and will only take effect after approval by the relevant institutions.

Junker & Halverscheid Formenbau GmbH & Co. KG (founded in 1974) and JuHa Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG (founded in 1983) are run as family businesses today. Around 170 people are currently employed at the site in Lüdenscheid, Germany. The shareholders intend to sell the Junker & Halverscheid Group to Yazaki EMEA in order to secure the success and further development of the companies.
