Yazaki Receives Award from the Lithuanian Ergonomics Association for its Innovative, Ergonomic Business Approach

Yazaki Receives Award from the Lithuanian Ergonomics Association for its Innovative, Ergonomic Business Approach

KÖLN, Germany, July 25, 2019 – Yazaki has received the Lithuanian Ergonomist 2018 Award for its innovative approach to business from the Lithuanian Ergonomics Association (LEA) during the National Innovative Ergonomic Approach for Business Awards held in Klaipėda, Lithuania on April 26, 2019.

The Yazaki Wiring Technologies Lietuva, Lithuania operations earned the award for its innovative ergonomic efforts to individually adapt the workplace to employee needs. The company put equipment and manufacturing processes in place designed to maintain neutral posture, reduce repetitive motions, and provide optimized lighting.

The National Innovative Ergonomic Approach for Business Awards program is a LEA initiative recognizing companies for raising awareness of ergonomic benefits for workers. It also encourages companies in the country to adopt ergonomic principles in their workplaces.
